A scuffle broke out between the supporters of Independent candidate Aijaz Ahmad Mir and National Conference (NC) candidate Showkat Hussain Ganie in Dachoo Nagbal, Shopian, police said on Sunday.
The police have noted a violation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and have initiated the necessary action in response to the incident.
